About Our End Of Year Campaign

Centering women's voices—and unapologetically advocating for their needs—has been, and continues to be, key to our success. The time for action is now. In 2025, we will boldly defend our hard-won victories, ensure working women know their rights, solidify Illinois' status as a safe haven for women and families, and advance critical policies and programs to close the wealth gap at the intersection of gender and race. We invite YOU to be a part of the solution. Donate to fuel our work before the end of this year.

Women Employed is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization, and your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please keep your email receipt as your official record.

Put a woman on a pathway to a living-wage career

Women, especially Women of Color and low-paid women, face daunting barriers to economic equity. WE works with colleges and other experts to address these barriers through career pathway programs, helping put more women on a path to access careers with family-supporting wages.

Educate 250,000 people about their workplace rights

Passing laws is only the first step in the fight for worker protections. You can't access a right that you don't know you have. So WE are continuously creating and sharing Know Your Rights resources and campaigns so women can educate and advocate for themselves.

Our work is for women from all backgrounds. $5,124 could ensure our materials, curriculum updates, and research are accessible for women for whom English is their second (or third, or fourth!) language, or who cannot read English at all.

Lead a coalition for one month

Progress is not made alone. We are stronger together, and so much of our work is done in collaboration and coalition with partners. $9,861 could cover one month of coalition work to fight for things like paid family and medical leave and equal pay.
